Love the @Angels taking @FAUBaseball 1B Nolan Schanuel No. 11 overall. Schanuel was insane this season for the Owls, and he can play multiple positions as well. Schanuel hit .444 with 19 homers, 64 RBIs and had an insane 1.476 OPS this past season.

The @Dbacks take @StanfordBSB infielder Tommy Troy No. 12 overall. Troy had a good 2022 campaign, and he had an amazing 2023 campaign with a more advanced approach. Big power and drew a lot more walks this past spring.

I agree with you, who has a higher ceiling, especially with such low risk than Teel? He belonged in the top 10, maybe it's a signability thing, that would be my best guess.

The @whitesox getting @OleMissBSB SS Jacob Gonzalez is a great pick. Gonzalez has big power and you will be hard-pressed to find a more steady defender at the shortstop position.

Had a feeling the @Brewers were going Brayden Taylor or Brock Wilken there -- and they go with Wilken, who had an incredible 2023 campaign for the #Deacs. Huge power and had a ridiculous OPS in '23.

I would have Taylor ahead of Wilken on my board -- but he's also an incredible overall player as well. Can't go wrong with either. I'd put $$$ on Taylor being the better pro. We will see.

There goes my man Brayden Taylor.  @RaysBaseball get a great one in the @TCU_Baseball corner infielder. Taylor has a massive ceiling with big-time pop in that wiry frame of his. Taylor made BIG improvements defensively the last two seasons.

That felt like a slam dunk to start the night, but there are a LOT of big high school names still on the board. Teams seem to be snagging the safer college guys with the first pick which likely means we will see some big money dishing out to guys going later in the night. Emerson still fits great at #23 though.

Galanie is more Day 2 than a pick for tonight. I think he makes it to Knoxville. Rest assured any losses to the draft will be more than made up from the portal. Vitello never rests.

Great question. Kind of mind blowing he has dropped in the draft as our No. 6 overall player in the college class. Good defender with a great approach and massive raw power. There's nothing to dislike in his game, IMO.
