Wreck - Funny enough, Tech definitely needs to figure out the No. 3 starting spot for regional play, but let's be honest, you can make things work in Omaha and in the Supers round with two very good starting pitchers. It happens all the time, but it's also playing with fire. My bigger concern right now is just an up and down bullpen.

What are you hearing on the extent of the injury to Hurd?  Also, when can Karros/Treadwell be expected back?

You won't see Hurd back on the mound this season barring some sort of miracle. Karros was expected back a couple of weeks ago, but keeps having setbacks. He's TBD at this point.

I know we lost the series, but in the thursday night game, what did you think of Conner Noland?  I have been watching him for years and I never really thought he had friday night SEC stuff in him. He appears to be proving me wrong.

Pigs -- He's been very good, and he was really good for me at the Round Rock Classic earlier this year. The big differentiator for Connor this year is that legitimate, big breaking curveball. That's been a really nice development and piece to his arsenal.
