How much consideration was given to moving Georgia up in this weeks poll seeing as how they seem to have fixed the pitching as they got healthier? They are complete.

The Bulldogs look fantastic for sure, but no reason for them to jump Arkansas or Tennessee at all just yet.

I wrote a couple weeks ago about Oregon State's very ordinary relief pitching.  Well it was exposed in spades this past weekend.  And even though the offense is a great front-running one, it simply doesn't execute with runners in scoring  position in clutch situations.  I haven't checked to see if there's a  ranking for teams leaving runners on base but I'd be willing to bet the Beavers  are near the top of the list. Am I just panicking or do you guys have  some of the same concerns ?

Really interesting observation on Oregon State's offense. The Beavers didn't really execute offensively in a couple of the games in Round Rock, either, but man when they are clicking, that's a really good looking offense to watch. I'd like to judge OSU a bit more once Keljo is back in the rotation. I feel like not having your Friday night guy in a road series is pretty notable.

At what point can traumatized Hog fans finally sit back and accept this lineup is legit?
Kendall Rogers
2:19
I think it's pretty obvoius at this point that Arkansas has a very solid offensive lineup. Go look at where the Hogs line up nationally in pretty much every offensive category. It's impressive. Good thing they didn't fire Nate Thompson in week two like some fans wanted ....

Are the Kansas Jayhawks for real? Do you feel they got a shot at the Big 12 title this year and that they could make some noise in the tourney to Omaha?
Kendall Rogers
2:27
I think the Jayhawks are for real. The lineup is rolling right now and they've got Dom Voegle clicking on all cylinders again. That's a very very solid team, IMO.

This might be a weird question for the middle of the season, but are you anticipating the most wild portal cycle ever in a few months with the roster limits shrinking? Feels like this might be an important summer for the mid-majors plucking guys who used to hang around the bottom of P5 rosters.
Kendall Rogers
2:29
I think it will not only be a wild portal cycle, but also a very very wild summer on the coaching carousel. I could see 6-7 brand name teams making changes at season's end.

What is it going to take for UCSB to make the NCAA Tournament? I think win the rest of the series and make a deep run in the Big West Tournament
Kendall Rogers

Would need to go on a furious run because the RPIs in that league are going to drag them down and they've already played teams like UC Irvine and Hawaii (two of the better RPI teams in the league). Very little to no margin for error for the Gauchos.

Are the ole miss rebels capable of being a national 8 seed despite their pitching being average at best?
Kendall Rogers
2:31
Wayne -- I do think Ole Miss needs to be a little more crisp. We were just talking about it on the Podcast earlier today, but it feels like the Rebels are playing good -- but not close to great baseball. There are teams left on the schedule that will make them pay for some of the iffyness. With that said, I've seen the Rebels at their best and I did like what I saw.

What about the resurgence at Alabama? Rob Vaughn has done an outstanding job. They should be in the conversation to host and maybe even be an overall national seed.

That guy is a really good coach. He was a winner as a player at Kansas State, he was a winner at Maryland, and now he's a winner at Alabama. Winning follows that guy everywhere. The fact that Alabama won that series without its best weekend starter is mighty impressive to me. Alabama is most definitely in the mix for a Top 16 seed. Hell, it's in the mix for a Top 8 seed at this point in the season.

It feels like the SEC is a 5 Team race that has formed into two Tiers. Tier 1 (Tennessee, Arkansas, and Georgia) with Tier 2 (Texas and LSU). How big of a gap is there between Tier 1 and Tier 2 (if at all). And if you had to pick Tennessee, Arkansas, and Georgia on a neutral field round robin, who would you take right now?
Kendall Rogers
2:35
I think I still like Tennessee and Arkansas a little better than Georgia, but the gap isn't incredible or anything. I just like the sum of Tennessee's parts a lot. I wouldn't sleep on LSU and Texas, either. I wish LSU would throw more strikes, but I think that's a really good baseball team.

Possibly a little late, but Nebraska's RPI is up to 75 with a top 40 SOS. Still under .500 but the schedule lightens up now. Is there a path to a regional or is there not enough RPI chances left?
Kendall Rogers
2:43
With an RPI of 75 -- Huskers would have to finish the regular season in very furious fashion to make the NCAA tournament. Never say never, but the past weekend certainly at least kept the pathway open.
