MG -- the Rebels had a strong weekend and miraculously went up 45 spots in the RPI, but I'd still have them behind several teams in the pecking order. They're probably right there with Air Force for me, with Nevada ahead of both at the moment.

Sitting at three games under .500 in the Big 12 with an RPI of 66, OU would need to win the Baylor series and go on a pretty ferocious run through the Big 12 Tournament to make the field. It has been such a weird, weird year for the Sooners. I don't get it.

I think the Tigers will get in if they get to 13 wins. That's an educated hunch. As for Mainieri, there have certainly been rumors of him retiring -- but nothing concrete out of BR just yet.
