analyst say slugger market cratered, when in reality the agents/players clearly misjudged the market. is next big "crater" this notion you can sign guys and then "flip" them at the trade deadline? or should I tune out Tv analyst saying sign this guy?

Oh yeah, most guys aren't flipped.

Something like 20% of player on one-year contracts for losing teams actually get traded.
The exceptions appear to be guys that are on one-year contracts because of the unknowns, like Rich Hill.
And on that note, I have to go pick up my mom.
