I think he'll be OK - he doesn't have much defensive value, so he really needs to hit.

But if he doesn't work out, the M's aren't really tied up on him.

Why do the Orioles insist on platooning Kim? He didn't have huge platoon splits in Korea, and Joey Rickard is absolutely awful.
