ZiPS doesn't explicitly project K/9 or K%. Probably easier for Cistulli to calculate since I don't give him TBF in the base readout.

I criticize the organization as a whole.
However, convincing an owner to have good plans is, in fact, part of the *job* of a VP/GM.

Most fantasy sites list Addison Russell between 13-18th on SS rankings. Aside from potentially batting 9th, why is the outlook for Russell this season much lower than some of the other SS's who were rookies last year?

If you're asking why he's not ranked as highly as Lindor and Correa it's that he didn't play as well as them. Not sure why he should get an equal lookout and I say that as someone who likes him

The Cards are taking a calculated risk. What's the upside? They overcome their cheapness, win some games, get some saves, normalcy, no more self-loathing. Downside... I actually think the Segura trade was decent for the D-Backs. Segura is an OK SS, and he basically cost a back-end rotation guy, and some other low prospect. It's a good trade for D-Backs if you think you are going for it. Agree?

Yeah, there's a mitigating factor for his 2014 performance. But he wasn't good in 2015 either.

Bias is one of the easier things to iron out.
It just comes down to I have more faith in players wiht longer resumes
