I think ti's very possible that Olivera's already had more than half of his final MLB at-bat total

re: McCann... If you're the Braves, why NOT go after him? They have a ton of options in the lower minors, and McCann/Flowers is an excellent receiving team.

WHY are some of you guys so obsessed with spending money and prospects to make the Braves better in 2016/2017? The Braves have essentially no chance at an improvement for 2016/2017 that has any kind of value to the present or future of the team.

Let's say I REALLY want to be elected president in 2016. It doesn't matter what I do, because there's no scenario that exists in any plausible sense in which I could be the president. It doesn't matter if I REALLY want to be president or if me being president would cure cancer and invent faster-than-light travel, because there's no even remotely realistic scenario in which it happens.
And that's true if I sell my house to hire a top notch political consultant. It's still not happening, not matter how much I want it or how good it would be.
