Finally able to get into Jotcast!

It wasn't taking my password on this PC and it took me awhile to recover it!  lol
Is anyone still here?

Hi Dan, big fan here. Are the Mets doomed?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:47
Mildly.   They seem uninterested in flippin the script.

Is Max Scherzer going to No-Hit the Marlins today?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:47
No

I asked the same question to Dave: The baseballs are juiced/changed right?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:48
It would be an easily explanation for the last year and a half.  But we still don't have sufficient evidence enough of a real change here in construction.
So logically it makes sense, but I only know what I can prove.

the Rockies are projected to go .500 the rest of the way. Ought I, as a 'rational' Rockies fan, have expectations higher than that anyway? With Gray and Anderson coming back, things would seem to be better than .500, right? Maybe?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:48
I actually have them slightly higher, a .515 team, IIRC.
Some of the pitching performance they've got would likely slow 'em down a bit of course

Some of the guys that are probably above their heads.

Is there anything left with King Felix worth stashing for fantasy?

Always worth a flyer if it's not costing you much.

My Cat, Cat Harvey, is not impressed with how the Mets handled the injury to his namesake, Matt Harvey. Should he have started the season on the DL and given more time to get in a groove before being called up to the majors?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:49
I don't even know what to do about Harvey anymore.

Follow up to juiced baseballs: are fly ball pitchers now on their way out?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:49
I suspect this is cyclical.

Feels like it's slid under the radar but Lindor's offense has taken a big tumble. Is he drunk on a moderate amount of power? Should he go back to trying to hit singles instead of home runs?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:51
He's actually making *more* contact than before!  He's like 70 points of BABIP below his career numbers

Strictly speaking, I'll say yes.

Is there a contract worse than Jordan Zimmermann?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:53
Pujols.
2:54
PZimmermann's "only" owed $83 million

I traded Kluber and Hoffman for Rosario and Cole in a dynasty. Did I get enough?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:54
I'd have tried to eke out a little more.

Question about Jose Berrios:

Whiffs are largely coming from the four seam fastball, while the secondary pitches (curve and change) are producing below average whiffs. You selling -- relative to current YTD production and in-year valuation -- performance as unsustainable?
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:55
To an extent.  he was never as bad as last year, but I don't think he's as good as this one.

Do players conciously adjust their swing depending on where they are playing? For example try to hit fly balls for home runs in Yankee but try to hit liners in San Fran...
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:56
Not to that much of an extent.

The ___ blank trade for Matt Adams at the trade deadline.  Headed back to Atlanta is ___.

Depends on how certain experiments go.

Am i the only one skeptical of Bellinger? His Babip is pretty high and his average is not. Once he stops hitting 2 home runs every game he wont seem so special.
AvatarDan Szymborski
2:56
He ought to hit a *lot* of HRs though.
