I don't think the Jays are "there" on a trade.
They've inched close enough to the race to be interesting again.

Given the team's bullpen issues, I think I'd actually put Wacha in the pen right now and use Luke Weaver.
Wacha's stuff strikes me as playing better in relief

I think he's a very solid starting pitcher and expect that to continue.
I don't think he's likely to have a Cy Young breakout.

I think it's very possible. ZiPS already has him finishing near a .900 OPS and I don't think in-season is really capturing the change in his swing.

I like the idea of E-Jax being a long reliever for the O's, but he has no minor league options. Given his getting shelled last night, could the team be like--See? You need more minors time.--and he agrees to go back down, or is it keep or cut at this point?
