Dan Szymborski
11:58
Szymborski has arrived, to the disappointment of all.

11:59
Give me a % chance of both Marcus Semien and Khris Davis hitting 35 HRs this year
Dan Szymborski
11:59
So like 40% and 70%? Let's call it 28%
maybe that's too high
30 and 60? 18%?
Chris

How worried should the Bucs be re: Polanco ?
Dan Szymborski
12:00
You mean the hammy? I wouldn't be that worried yet.
Matt
12:00
Hey Dan. I missed you.
Dan Szymborski
12:00
There's help for that.
Brendan C.
12:01
What should the Yankees specifically target if they were to sell?
Dan Szymborski
12:01
I don't think sellers should run in specifically targeting things. They should focus on getting the best future return they can for their players, but you don't need me to say that!
Matt
12:02
Let's assume Yanks sell. Who's going? Beltran, Chapman, Nova?
Dan Szymborski
12:02
If they're smart, this and more. Headley, Miller, someone willing to pick up some of Ellsbury for a prospect
Neer
12:03
ETA on Bregman's arrival in the majors with Yulieski signing w/ the Stros?
Dan Szymborski
12:03
I don't think it has an effect
Dan
12:03
Who has a better second half Conforto or Pence?
Dan Szymborski
12:03
I'll still go with Pence. It's not like his game is speed and defense
Elias
12:04
Could the Indians be asking on Vogt with Gomes down?
Dan Szymborski
12:04
Ought to be in the conversation if they're not willing to pay Lucroy price

LAD appear to be bringing jose de leon along slowly. Does he don the Dodger uni by the season-end? or will he be utilized as a trade asset this month?
Dan Szymborski
12:04
The Dodgers with their various pitching injuries/risks are playing it be ear. And anyway, most times these things aren't an either/or.
kel varnson
12:06
if/when arroyo comes up, who becomes the odd man out in the san fran infield? or is he utilized as a super utility player ala javier baez/brock holt?
Dan Szymborski
12:07
I still don't think he gets a significant role in MLB this year if he comes up at all.
The Giants aren't aggressive promoters, typically, and they don't usually make too many waves with jobs.
pennypacker
12:08
concern with jesse winker's power outage or will great american cure that?
Dan Szymborski
12:08
I do have concern.
vandalay
12:09
why are the NYM seemingly hell-bent on keeping herrera in the minors?
Dan Szymborski
12:09
Their apparent casual disinterest in Herrera has confused me long-term.
Elias
12:09
Danny Valencia - A's 2017 1B, or dealt at the deadline?
Dan Szymborski
12:09
Dealt if they're smart.
The market sucks and he'll never be playing better than this. What time is better?
Mr. Pink
12:10
Tanner Roark, is playing pretty well. I would say it's unsustainable but he already did this in 2014. What's his value going forward?
Dan Szymborski
12:10
I think hey's pretty good - he wouldn't be the first pitcher to awkwardly adjust to constantly shifting roles.
paul
12:11
what is david prices issue
Dan Szymborski
12:11
The FIP gods are cruel sometimes.
A .332 BABIP is simply not real. That's about where hitters moonlighting as pitchers are.
Bob
12:12
Do you view Kepler's recent power spike as sustainable (within reason)? The kid definitely has the frame for it... Follow up: with that (maybe) power, and evolving plate discipline, what type of performance do you expect in next 2-3 years?
Dan Szymborski
12:12
I think it's perfectly reasonable, maybe not 30 HR power, but players don't have fluke HR totals *that* often
The Decadent Moose
12:12
So I got the call to tryout for the Cardinals' bullpen. My fastball velo is 72-74 spiking 77. Should I compliment that with a Fosh change or should I go more esoteric with knuckle options?
Dan Szymborski
12:13
The key to the cardinal bullpen is having blackmail material on Matheny. Because I've eliminated any other possible plausible thread of reasoning in Matheny's bullpen usage over the years.
