Why does pitcher handedness affect how fast a BATTER can get out of the box? Or are you talking about a rhp pitching to a lhp, while lhp is batting (presumably) from left side?

Because a righthander will face more lefthanded batters than the lefthander and the lefthanded batters will put the ball in play more often against them

Crazy how it feels like Arrieta has not been dominant this year, but has 2.68 ERA and 3.04 FIP. I guess its tough to follow up a season with 1.77 ERA and 2.35 FIP. Command is what has been the most eye opening for me.

Why aren't there more 1 vs 1 e-sports type games? People seem generally unhappy with a lot of the "one jerk teammate can ruin your experience" aspect of League of Legends but there doesn't seem to be other games in the e-sports niche that are 1v1 now that competitive Starcraft is virtually dead (unless Hearthstone counts). Thoughts?
