Is it just me or is the Rockies' rotation really good now? Are they contenders next year if they can upgrade the lineup into a cromulent (Coors-adjusted) unit?

It's a good rotation. My big concern with the Rockies isn't their player development, just their ability to harness all the value of their major league roster and maximize their eventual team quality

Still 30-40% or so. The nice thing for the AL wild cards is that realistically, there are two WC spots that are available, while there's really just one in the NL

It's hard to tell. If the answer was easy, it would have already been done.
But every year he struggles offensively, that ceiling gets lower and lower, like a Willy Wonka hallway.

Should the league investigate ways to increase the ball's air resistance to (presumably) disadvantage fireballers and give a boost to guys who rely on movement? Seems like most people recognize the "you have to throw 95 and everyone will blow out their elbow" equilibrium as a not-good one for anyone.

There's no reason to ever have a RP win the Cy Young is there? I can't imagine ever having someone at my job win the Employee of the Year if they're only a part timer working 15 hours a week.
