Though the voters would have to do a better job than they have. That Mussina and Schilling aren't in the Hall and pitchers like Kevin Brown get one-and-outed is absolutely absurd.
So Hill could be Koufax for 6 years and still get almost no support.

Can someone explain why the pirates are still having Ryan Vogelsong start games? If they're trying to win this year, he's a bad option. If they're trying to retool for 2017, he is a bad option.

I'm a believer in the Bochy Magic Touch, but why can't he see the disaster that is Santiago Casilla. Law and Strickland would both be better, especially Law, but he continues to give Casilla the leverage situations.

Well, they don't hit very hard and they play in a park that has a large BABIP effect.
The Coliseum has a *lot* of plays that can be outs, but never hits.

Any idea what ZiPS will think of Kershaw next year? Does it know that he missed time due to injury, and will it reflect fears that any sort of pitching injury might linger by giving him a somewhat lukewarm forecast? Or does it not work like that?
