The first five times Buehler faced the Giants this year, he allowed a total of 3 ER in 37 IP. In the last one, he allowed 6 ER in 3 IP.

I have to imagine the Dodgers would prefer a 7 game series. They think they are the better team. More games favors the better team. Giants would probably say the same.

I think any team would want as long as possible of a series in order to avoid the randomness of baseball as much as possible.
