It is thought the Opal caterpillars are called that because because of their smooth, curved  opal backs (humps).Opal Caterpillars are the rarest of all because they can turn into shiny, glimmering butterflies in seconds and are the fastest in the world.They mostly eat the freshest, greenest leaves that just fell down from weeping willows.They mostly live in the cold crystale caves with the finest clear crystals that only grow there underground.
