Are you going to the Pro Bowl?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
Never been to one, never will. I did watch them, though, as a teenager

Ed, two coaching questions, I was surprised Teryl Austin took a position coach job, wasn't he a DC? And, did the Steelers hire a running backs coach yet?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
Austin was fired by the Bengals during the season. Perhaps there were not a lot of offers out there and coming home to coach the Steelers was attractive. Yes, their new RB coach is Eddie Faulkner, who had been at NC State

Rosie Nix underutilized in the last half of the season. Watching Devlin for N.E. play reinforces that belief. thoughts?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
I agree and wonder why they even signed him to a 4-year contract last year if they're not going to use him.
Joe
2:25
Do you think the Steelers are still championship caliber if they trade Brown?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
Yes, but they'll need to find another top-flight wide receiver, most likely in the draft.

If you are an agent, why would you even let your client be stupid enough to be on Twitter?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
You think those guys have control over their clients? Ha.

Why would Burnett requests release through the media?  I think its a reflection on internal leadership with the Steelers
Ed Bouchette
2:26
I think it's more a reflection on Morgan Burnett

Good information on Shazier - Thanks! Do fans realized that not every interception is the fault of the QB? Sad to see all the fan lack of appreciation for Big Ben.
Ed Bouchette
2:28
they booed Bradshaw when he threw a couple of interceptions in his final game at 3 Rivers Stadium, playoff loss vs. San Diego. They waived their One For The Thumb signs for the next 25 years.

Ed, between Tomlin and Cowher which one inherited the most talent.
Ed Bouchette
2:29
Tomlin inherited a better quarterback and a team one year removed from a Super Bowl win. I'd guess Mike did. Cowher's inherited talent was young and ready to hit its stride.

Wasn't B. Arians comments concerning AB tampering?  He just brought his market value down by making those DIVA comments!!
Ed Bouchette
2:29
Borderline but i'd say no.

Is this draft more LB talent heavy or CB talent heavy and if we got a top 10 along with the 20 how would you pick?
Ed Bouchette
2:30
It really is heavy at the top on defensive linemen.

What do you think it would take to correct the officiating problems that have affected a lot of the outcomes of a lot of games?
Ed Bouchette
2:31
Dan Rooney told me a long time ago that an extra official should be added to each crew and he should be in the box watching on TV and have the same authority to call plays and also discuss calls with the on-field officials. You could eliminate a whole lot by doing that.

When will they hang the banner "13 wins, 2017 Regular Season"?
Ed Bouchette
2:33
They only showcase Lombardi Trophies and unless the Patriots win another, they lead the league with 6.
ALB
2:33
Would you rather it be 5 degrees or 105 degrees?
Ed Bouchette
2:34
give me 5. I can wear a coat, hat and gloves.

How do you assess Colbert's 2018? Edmunds, not Leonard.  2nd round bust.  Burnett and Bostic.  Extensions for Williams and Boswell were not a good use of money.  And of course the Bell situation.  All in one year!
Ed Bouchette
2:36
So, you are saying you would have let Boswell become a free agent after how he performed in 2017? Also, you must give rookies a little time or else Troy Polamalu would have been labeled a  bust after his first season. And it seems to me that T.J. Watt, JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner are all going to the Pro Bowl. They were drafted 1-2-3 in 2017. Every GM has his misses or else they'd all be in the Hall of Fame.

do you think lj fort was throwing Boswell under the bus with his comments about the kickers this weekend or was he just making a good natured observation?
Ed Bouchette
2:37
It was either a backhand to Boswell or a poor use of social media.
2:38
Thanks for another great chat. I'll be at the Super Bowl next week and not sure about some interview arrangements yet. We'll try to keep it again on Tuesday at 2 all things being equal.
