You mean, take them to Japan or China?
Krugerrand
2:18
Bell returns.  He sits for a 2-week roster exemption.  After that, who would you cut so that Bell can have a spot?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
Ridley hasn't done much.
Dan
2:18
How would you divide the RB share when and if Leveon returns? I think using a combo of them both (like kamara/ingram) as well as maybe 7-15 plays with Leveon in the slot could be a force unstoppable. We cant just leave Connor out to dry can we?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
Forget Le'Veon in the slot. He's not that effective there and they have slot guys. I'd continued to start Conner and work Bell in. Once that is done after several weeks, I'd start with whoever is delivering the best but still use the other guy too.

Wit the Brown's owner's comments about not understanding why Vontaze Burfict was fined, does that pretty much explain everything that is wrong from the top down in that organization?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
A few years ago, the Steelers wondered the same things about James Harrison and the rest of the NFL world wondered why they reacted that way.

Please comment on the schedule for the rest of the season,  it looks difficult to me
Ed Bouchette
2:21
I did that in my story today.

Ed,  Your impressions of Baker Mayfield so far?  Any concern on Sunday?  Thank you.
Ed Bouchette
2:21
The Steelers were tied by the Browns with Tyrod Taylor at QB. There better be concern.
Oscar

Any chance of paparazzi tracking you to the PG Sports Forum tomorrow night?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
Why would tomorrow night be any different?
Mack
2:23
How many wins do you think wins this division?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
I think 9-7-1 could do it
Oops. 9-6-1

Hi Ed, other than Mayfield and Chubb can we expect to see the same Browns from week 1?
Ed Bouchette
2:24
No Josh Gordon, who scored the winning TD

So now Bell is negating any trade by not coming in before 4pm 10/30.... How could the Steelers or any team trust his effort, at this point, this season?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
The Steelers will have no choice -- unless they want to pull the tag, which I don't believe they'll do. We'll see if it hurts him in the market next year.

Just think of how different our D could be if the Bengals didn't steal William Jackson III one pick before us in the 2016 draft. Thanks for giving us Artie Burns...
Ed Bouchette
2:26
Jackson ain't that good
Kris
2:26
There is no reason we shouldn't beat the browns by 20+ this week. Agreed?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
You need to find yourself a bookie

We won games/superbowls without "top tier" CBs in the past, what's the biggest difference now?  The lack of pressure?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
I do believe those past teams had better linebackers.

Hey Ed,
With our needs adding up, I just don't think we can afford to cut ties with Bud Dupree.
We have huge gaps at ILB, CB and other positions.  Cutting Dupree just creates yet another Huge Gap to cover. At least he is "Servicable".
Am I off base?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
The Steelers exercised their fifth-year option on Dupree for 2019. They could still opt out of that, but I suspect they will keep him.

Ed, With Brees recently becoming one of only a few QBs to beat every team in the league - where does Ben stand on this? Obviously he has not beaten his own team (and hopefully never has too), but are there any teams Ben has not beaten?
Ed Bouchette
2:30
Ben Roethlisberger has beaten all 31 other NFL teams. The only other active QBs to do that are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

If Bell comes back after week ten is there a chance the Steelers don’t use him.
Ed Bouchette
2:31
Once he comes back, they'll use him, probably not as they've done in the past because of James Conner's emergence, but they'll use him.

2:31
Ed, do you think Baltimore or Cincinnati is the stronger team after 7 weeks?
Ed Bouchette
2:31
Baltimore

2:31
Ed, If they pull the tag now, would they have enough cap space to get Peterson
Ed Bouchette
2:31
They have that now
Mark
2:32
Hi Ed. The Steelers have one of the best offensive lines, a Hall of Fame QB, and Receiver. I know it's early, but what do you see as the biggest differences between Bell and Connors? Thank you.
Ed Bouchette
2:32
Their running styles. Conner is a brute, Bell more surgical
Thank you for another great chat. See you next Tuesday
