Ed Bouchette

Good afternoon, let’s begin
BishkekSteeler

Ed, we are winning, and that's good, but we sure as heck don't look good doing it.They have me on the edge of the seat all game long. Are we going to get an offense that looks cohesive and confident any time this season? If they get into the playoffs with an offense that looks like this, they won't get far.
Ed Bouchette
2:01
Well, they would need a complete collapse in order to not make the 0layoffs. Their defense has played well but if they do not pick things up on offense, an early exit looms

How much is the steelers chances of being the number 1 seed diminish by the loss of Joe Haden? What can we expect from Cody Sensabaugh?
Ed Bouchette
2:03
Haden loss hurts but the Steelers have been injury lucky for the most part. Not sure about Sensabaugh because we have not seen much of him
Brad
2:03
Hi Ed. Is it just me, or has the offense been more productive when B.J. Finney subs for Ramon Foster?
Ed Bouchette
2:03
I don’t think that is their issue
OHIO412FAN
2:04
Will Sutton be called upon to step up along with Sensabaugh as well? Injury Report? Will Mike Mitchell play?
Ed Bouchette
2:05
Sutton is a rookie with just two weeks of practice. I don’t expecthim to play unless things turn dire. Not sure about Mitchell because they just hit practice field. But not optimistic
2:06
No one does anymore. Post-Gazette stopped that practice in 70s. We travel but separate from team
2:07
Yes, they proved that last year when they won 9 straight before running into Patriots
Alahup in VA
2:07
After reading Bell's comment he made in the "I should have played lacrosse" article. Maybe it is time for Conner to get more carries?
Ed Bouchette
2:08
You should not have taken any of that seriously.

Is it time to say good bye to Martavias Bryant...he looks like he just doesn't like his role on this team?
Ed Bouchette
2:08
I thought he played well Sunday
Franklin, TN
2:08
Will Cam Sutton join the 53 this sesason?  If so, who would you consider the primary player to get cut?
Ed Bouchette
2:09
I think he will because they want him to practice. Dan McCullers might be a candidate
Paul from Louisville
2:09
Do you think Kion Adams will take James Harrisons spot next year?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
I think this is the final season for James. Who takes his spot next year is TBD
Bubba
2:10
If the offense doesn’t have a good showing Thursday.. will the Steelers consider giving playcalling responsibilities to another assistant coach?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
No
Bee_Sting
2:11
Todd Haley does not run, catch or throw, but do you believe the defenses has caught  up to his play calling style ?
Ed Bouchette
2:11
Everyone studies tendancies
fhuds3
2:12
There seemed to be an emphasis on getting the ball to Martavis do you believe that will continue
Ed Bouchette
2:13
Bryant was targeted with 5 passes Sunday. JuJu had 7 and AB 7.. Bell had 6
fhuds3
2:14
Ed I know you're not a doctor but play one for the chat... How Long Will Hayden be out
Ed Bouchette
2:14
5 weeks, which is a guess on my part
Bee_Sting
2:14
What is more likely, the offense is not as talented as initially thought, the group is simply under performing or the other defenses have our OC number ?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
Offense underperforming

2:15
No worries here on a narrow win against a poor team playing over their heads.  I anticipate a lot of focus in practice (especially on tackling), and a great showing featuring plenty of QB pressure. How is the T's o-line?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
They have one real full practice this week which is today and they never tackle in practice
fhuds3
2:16
Ugly game, but those are the type of games that Superbowl caliber teams win correct

What is your take on Jerry Jones and potentially leaking information on the Commissioner's salary negotiations ?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
I love it
alphonso
2:17
I appreciated your article today noting the offense has not lived up to its potential. Why not call out Haley for being the number 1 problem with his play calling?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
Because I am not convinced that is the No. 1 problem. Who called the plays last season?
Miles McGuire
2:18
Ed, over the past season, or 2. I've noticed a lot of Kevin Colbert on the sidelines (non meddling). Has he always done that?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
I think he prefers it on the road. He almost always is in the box upstairs at home
Charlotte John
2:19
Ed, are our TEs good enough to get them involved in this offense? Seems to be a missing piece.
