Speaking of JuJu, I have heard/read comments about him, saying that he isn't the little angel that some people have made him out to be.  Have you heard, or seen, any actions, comments made by JuJu that  would be in agreement with what I posted in my first sentence.  Thanks
Ed Bouchette
2:18
Not sure what you mean by "little angel." He's a tough football player and they knew that when they drafted him.

On Juju's suspension, isn't he a first time offender? Is this the first suspension handed down on a hit like that without a history?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
As I mentioned, the NFL seems to be suspending players willy-nilly. The more they lower the bar, the more the suspensions will come

I know many reporters (especially on the crime beat) see more sad stories more often than you; but you know these players, at least to some extent.  How hard is it to separate "the story" from "the person" when injuries like Shazier's occur?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
You have to compartmentalize, just as the players did last night when they continued to play and actually picked up their play in the second half.

Ed, what is the status of Joe Haden?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
He is recovering from a broken fibula. I don't think you'll see him any time soon in the lineup
BlackJack Bill

Boswell for team MVP, or at least second behind #84?  Your thoughts please.
Ed Bouchette
2:21
He's done a great job at the end of games. I would pick a real football player, though, and that's a long list before Chris and would include AB, Bell, Ben, Heyward . . .

What are the keys to beating Baltimore for THIS WEEKS game?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
Don't fall behind 17-0 in the first half

Have you ever seen a play like the one last night where the DB stood and watched L Bell run past him for a TD? I've been watching FB for 50 years and don't think I have.
Ed Bouchette
2:22
That was certainly unusual. I have seen players give up on plays, though, in other situations and it bite them. I once saw Plaxico Burress spike a ball after he caught a pass and fell down without being touched down. Jacksonville recovered the "fumble"

Have you seen a worse penalized team than last night?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
Yeah, I think it was Cincinnati a few years ago, although the Bengals did set a team record in yards penalized with 173 because of some very long PI penalties

IS #84 in concussion protocol after that end zone hit on his game tying TD catch? Cant recall one as brutal as....oh wait, the one he took in the playoffs vs the Bunguls last year.
Ed Bouchette
2:23
No, he's not
Jud
2:24
Although called back... Bryant took one to the house...so that's good progress
Ed Bouchette
2:24
If that would have stood up and if he had caught that deep  pass, he would have had a monster game. But, he didn't

Why would Moats be in?  Are either Dupree or Watt injured or was it a rotation?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
They were rotating OLBs somewhat last night

Do you like doing these chats?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
I'm becoming accustomed to them.

Rogers had a couple of drops (although no muffed punts), do you think that hurts his cause or because of conditions he gets a pass?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
AB dropped a few too, so did AJ Green, two of the best in the league. Give him a pass from last night, but he has had a number of them this year

I know it's speculation, but is Cinci looking for a new head coach after this season?
Ed Bouchette
2:27
Maybe they should be after more of the same.

Ravens on a 3 win streak, putting up 44 against Detroit last week. Coming to play a Pittsburgh team after an extremely emotional week and distractions. Concerned?
Ed Bouchette
2:27
I don't get concerned because I don't have to play or coach them, just document. It should be another classic Ravens-Steelers game
Ike Steelheart
2:28
I saw Hines Ward on the sidelines, is he part of the coaching staff already?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
He coached through the preseason and returned this week to help out.

My prediction: IUP 34, Western Florida 17, and on the the National Championship.  IUP class of '72

Is a medical update on RS expected at some time today - from the Med Staff?
Ed Bouchette
2:29
I don't "expect" but they will issue something when they have it, I would suspect. They're still evaluating. Still too early to determine the extent of the injury is my understanding

While 10-2 is nice, the Steelers sure haven't looked all that impressive in those wins.
Ed Bouchette
2:30
That's why the BCS left them out of its four-team playoff
Thank you for another great chat. We'll see you again next Tuesday.
