In the nickel, who do you see being on the field more often - V Williams or a 3rd safety (Golden/Dangerfield)?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
Maybe William Gay as the third safety

2:17
Do you think they'll look to sign a TE as a free agent during the summer?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
No, I do not.

What draft pick made you scratch your head the most, and why?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
The long snapper, but I've come to understand their reasoning.
Buckeye Chuck

Do you have any insight on how Harrison deals with rookies? Is he the type that will take someone like Watt under his wing and share everything with him, or is he the type that will say “don’t talk to me rookie”?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
He is more likely to work with a rookie if the rookie wants him to. I think the rook must make the first move.

Hey Ed, As a big fan I have a couple questions. 1) Who are your projected starters? and 2) with all the talent at Wr do think we might see Coates get traded away?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
I don't think you'll see many surprises in the 22 starters right off the bat. Bryant will start provided he shows up, and I mean that in many ways. The defense will be the same as last year to start out.
I'm not sure anyone would want to trade for Coates.

Does Pitt finally stop using AB on punt returns with his diminishing return stats over the past few years?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
They'd love to, provided someone can reasonably convince them he can do the job.

Keep one, trade one, cut one: DeCastro, Pouncey, Marcus Gilbert
Ed Bouchette
2:21
Silly game.

Ed, I saw you weren't high on the long snapper pick but sounds like you have warmed up to it. What have you heard that made you change?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
It sounds as if Greg Warren might be at the end and they are more difficult to find than I knew.
2:24
And you have to have a good one or your kicker is going to miss more often
Tucson Man

Do you think Ambassador Rooney would have approved of our 2017 draft?
Ed Bouchette
2:24
He would have loved the James Conner selection.
Steeler Joe
2:24
Curious if T.J. Watt is the kind of player who can move to ILB in some scenarios as needed, special packages and such--which would further improve the depth there.
Ed Bouchette
2:25
They drafted him to be an outside linebacker. Let's see how he does there before you move him around.
Ronnie
2:25
Which defensive player do you think has the best chance to reach double digits in sacks this year?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
Bud Dupree
Kevin in Punxsy
2:25
What is the soonest that the Steelers (and then the fans) will find out whether, or not, L Greene will be healthy enough to play?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
We'll start with spring practices, see how he does there. He did not participate last spriing.
David
2:26
Do you think we will be able to sign Bell to a long term deal this offseason and if so how much per year average do you think it will take to get it done?
Ed Bouchette
2:27
I do not think it will be easy because of his guarantee of $12 M this season.
Timbo
2:27
We just assume that New England is the only road block to the big game. Raiders and Chiefs have the potential to leap frog us in to the AFC game...
Ed Bouchette
2:27
Not to mention the Baltimore Ravens, who were one arm stretch by Antonio Brown away from beating the Steelers in the playoffs at Heinz Field

2:28
WAY-too-early picks for division winners? NE, Pittsburgh, Texas, Oakland sound right, maybe with KC and Tennessee as wild cards?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
I still think the Houston Texans will falter without a quarterback
Steeler Joe
2:28
How quickly will we know if Senquez Golson is done?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
He's still on the roster, so he's got a chance. Let's see what he does in spring practices
Denis
2:29
Do you think, and ive heard some talk of it, that we will see alot more man coverage from our secondary? And is Burns capable and strong enough to get on recievers at the line of scrimmage?
Ed Bouchette
2:29
Carnell Lake said during the draft that they want to use more man to man coverage this season. Artie Burns, I believe, is versatile enough to play any way they want
JC
2:30
Any chance we could see Watt and Harrison on the field together for increased situational pass rushing?
Ed Bouchette
2:30
I think you could see that. At times last season they had 3 OLBs at the same time
ElDuque
2:30
The Ravens game was regular season ...
Ed Bouchette
2:30
Yes it was, and if they did not win that game, they weren't going to win the division title.
