The Steelers have not permitted interviews with Fichtner since he was hired, outside of a brief one during the Pro Bowl. So I cannot tell you his thoughts on his new job and how he will approach it. He has not been a coordinator in the pros so I'm not sure of his philosophy. I do know he and Ben get along real well and I believe Fichtner will be a common-sense coordinator.
