Why do I keep hearing people voice concern over our WR situation this year? I remember a team that Had Ward, Randle El and then names like Quincy Morgan, Nate Washington and Sean Morey and they did OK.

I'm not concerned, because it really doesn't concern me. But if I were a coach, I would have been concerned before Hawkins' injury.

I saw Hawkins is now on IR. Any idea if thats the IR where he comes back mid season? (I thought there was a spot where IR lasts for 6-8 weeks. Can you clarify the rule and expectation for how long Hawkins is out? whole season or back by mid-season?) Also, can you give a grade on Harris as a backup Offensive Tackle? Thanks in advance!

In order to be one of those who can return, you have to be on the 53-man roster to start the season and THEN go on IR. So, no, he cannot. Plus, it's a season-ending injury anyway.

It is June 5. the deadline to get a deal done is July 16. I would say they are not on hold, but I cannot tell you they are on fire either.

I'm not sure they really overlooked them, and I certainly don't think a handful of rookies will help them in that area if they did.

The Eagles really uninvited themselves if reports are true that fewer than 10 planned to show up. Rather than be embarrassed by that kind of turnout, it seems Trump acted first. I think the whole White House visits are silly anyway. Where do you draw the line of those you invite? Gold medal winners. What about NCAA champions in lacrosse? I also have felt those phone calls from the Prez to World Series and Super Bowl champs, etc., was overdone.
