Certainly no pass rush as he did in his first game, but he did some good things I am told. Vs. run as well.
OH Guy
2:14
What are the chances that Leveon will be taking a knee during the national anthem? Seems like it's something he would do.
Ed Bouchette
2:15
I don't know what gave you that thought.

Hi Ed...  We saw one trade for a TE happen today. Do you think we will see more trades happening before the start of the season?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
The Steelers have not had much luck making trades lately (CB from Eagles, K from Jax). Maybe their luck will turn.

Hi Ed,   If Sutton plays well on Thursday and Hilton has a good showing do you think they replace Gay as the slot corner, he's clearly the weakest link in the secondary.
Ed Bouchette
2:18
I don't think it's going to be based on one game. All things being equal, I'd go younger.
TShip
2:18
Correct to assume that the only help on the way for the secondary is for Sutton to play well.
Ed Bouchette
2:19
Sutton, Hilton, Sensabaugh. I don't think Brian Allen will make the 53

On a scale of 1-10, what chances do you see the black n gold making a trade for a starter quality DB or Safety in the following days?
Ed Bouchette
2:19
Those are tough to get in trade because if he's a quality starter, teams don't want to give that up at that position.

2:20
when will Senquez Golson return to practice?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
Maybe never with the Steelers.
Jon
2:21
Assuming Bell will start without having any preseason practice, what kind of workload do you see Bell having in week#1? Will they keep it under 15 touches?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
It would depend on what kind of shape he is in, how he is running vs. Cleveland and the situation in that game.
JR
2:22
Ed, do you think the Steelers will be looking hard at the waiver wire starting Friday for veteran CB help? Once again this looks to be a real concern for a would-be Super Bowl caliber team heading into the season.
Ed Bouchette
2:22
I think they've been looking  hard at it for years now. It's how they found Ross Cockrell, for one.
Tat

What is the status of  reinstatement of M Bryant? Can he play week 1?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
No word yet.
Wade
2:22
Do you think Bell’s holdout has irreversiblely damaged his reputation with fans or does winning solve everything?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
Winning and his next 100-yard game should wipe clean any resentment. On the other hand, a pulled hamstring early on might not help with the fans' opinions.

Any updates on Tuitts new deal?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
No
2:24
They went pretty high with their last offer. It's hard to predict but they can tag him again for $14.5 million in 2018
Avg Joe Flaccid
2:24
How overrated is Flacco? Ravens are really hampered by his bloated contract
Ed Bouchette
2:25
And his bad back. He looked pretty good winning that Super Bowl.
Volant Kid
2:25
Do you think any of our front three on the defense would even start on the great 70's D.
Ed Bouchette
2:26
I think Cam could have, but at DT in the 4-man line.
Chris
2:27
I read the browns are shopping Joe Haden would steelers have interest in getting him
Ed Bouchette
2:28
They might have interest, but not giving up much. He last made the Pro Bowl in 2014. His salary is $11.1 million. He missed 11 games in 2015, three last season with two groin injuries that he had surgery on after the season.

Any surprises or snubs in your opinion on who was left out of the inaugural Steelers Hall class? Why no Greg Lloyd or Troy Polamalu?
Ed Bouchette
2:30
They put in 27 men. Had they put in 100 people would still complain someone was left out. Those players you mention ultimately will get in. One problem with Halls of Fame or Honor -- all of them -- is that people complain about those who DON'T get in rather than celebrate those who do.
dave

Does Bell really expect to be paid $15 million per year?
Ed Bouchette
2:32
Well, they offered him more than $12 million annually and he rejected it, so I'd say that would be around what he was expecting to get
2:33
Thanks for another great chat. See you in the regular season.
