Maybe. I don't think he will make this team.

Ed, who and how many are the Steelers permitted to stash on the practice squad?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
You don't stash on the practice squad because other teams can sign those guys. Practice squads can be up to 10

Ed, what's with this new "ring of honor" thing the Steelers are doing. Do they really need this???
Ed Bouchette
2:20
It's not a ring of honor -- there will be no names around Heinz Field -- it is a Hall of Honor. It's a way for the Steelers to really honor many of those who did not make the Hall of Fame, although all of those guys will be in the first class apparently

Hi Ed. Thx for your time. Who has been the best player at camp so far?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
Antonio Brown.

Since he's been on IR the past two seasons, is Golson eligible for the practice squad?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
Yes he is

Hi Ed.  The Steelers typically don't delay in the preseason when it comes to injury-related moves.  (reference S. Orndoff as one of the latest casualties, released a day or two after his injury)  Does this mean Golson, who isn't on IR and  hasn't been released, might have more of a chance at the roster than previously thought?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
As a second-round draft pick, Golson is getting every opportunity to show he cannot stay healthy.

With the Chargers playing at a stadium that only seats 26,000 people and all the ticket revenue goes into a pot to be shared by all teams do you think the other owners are a bit miffed that they could not make better arrangements?
Ed Bouchette
2:24
I am sure they are, but the revenue from TV is what really counts.

2:24
When do you expect Bell to report to camp?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
Maybe after they break Saint Vincent. The Steelers are a bit perplexed he's not signed and here. If he comes down with a serious injury working out before he signs his deal, he could be out $12M

hi Ed, what's your thoughts on Golson ? unlucky? out of shape ? bad draft pick?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
Unlucky with injuries

Every year, Steelers ticket prices seem to go up and up, yet people don't show up for games and the product on TV is often much higher quality.  Why doesn't the NFL cap prices to incentivize people to show up to games?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
The Steelers raise ticket prices every OTHER year, not yearly. They have sold out since 1972 so the problem is not ticket prices. I have no idea why people buy tickets and do not show up or cannot or will not sell them or even give them away.

A rookie long snapper in a title game in inclement weather on a very talented team. Pressure. This worth the risk? Do they have a backup just in case?
Ed Bouchette
2:29
You worry too much.

Ed, the recent struggles against NE were more than just defensive issues. The red zone offense is also a issue. Don't you also think that is the main reason for the losses
Ed Bouchette
2:30
They lost to NE at home with Landry Jones at QB. They lost to  NE in the AFC title game with virtually no Le'Veon Bell and no one outside of Antonio Brown to catch a pass. I think those helped hold down their red zone offense.

Is Justin Hunter just media hype or has he really opened some eyes so,far?
Ed Bouchette
2:31
He has done well, but he needs to start hanging onto the football.

Thank you for another great chat. See you next Tuesday
