Odorizzi picked it up super fast but is the anomaly. More likely, you see what DeSclafani did with the curve: he threw it in the AFL, then put it away for most of the season, then picked it up again some in Florida, then put it away, then it finally clicked in Cincy. I think I have that timeline right.

Eno! I forgot you guys did daylight savings in the US and we didn't do it yet here in Germany. I hope I can catch you in time, because MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. I've got the first overall pick in a 12-team 12 keeper draft. I've kept a full lineup on offense other than utility, plus four starters--Archer, Carrasco, Salazar, and McCullers (ugh). Common sense says I should take another starting pitcher with the first pick, like Smyly or Wacha. But my heart says AJ REED SO SEXY. Can I do like Roxette said and listen to my heart? Also: from trades at the deadline, I've got ten of my twelve picks happening in the first 48.
