He can't command the change and loses command of the slurve late in games, and then always comes with a fastball (which he can command) when he's behind. Whiffs not the problem, grounders even okay, it's the homers. I think he'll adjust at some point.

Archer. Lots of questions. I have few answers for you. Maybe he's throwing too many changeups, that's giving up the most homers. But the slider line drive rate is up, and it's flatter than its ever been. Needs a mechancial adjustment. Release point steady, though, and velo not down a ton. I still like him.

So this is kind of morbid, but do you think there will be a spike in highschoolers getting TJ surgery trying to push themselves to get peak velocity and trying to get into the MLB? It's already happening in Japan but that's more of the training workload.

I once went to Jamaica, on my honeymoon...came back literally messed up in the head. Brain was swollen for like 3 weeks. Wouldn't talk and cried a lot. Poor wife. And no drugs! Although we were offered some on the bus from airport to resort, by the driver. Good ole Jamaica.
