He's a bit over his head. Not a .300 hitter, will strike out a bit more. But the power is believable, and this is a good young player.

Not necessarily. Currently we're using radar technology, which has a hard time with the moment of impact because it wants to separate objects.

Did you check out the Zymurgy (Homebrew Association magazine) issue of top beers/breweries? Seemed like lots of older/high hype beers and almost all IPA or barrel aged stuff. Thoughts on these "reader survey" lists - too much bias toward high availability or historically hyped beers? Seems weird that Pliney has been the "best beer in america" for the last 8 years

Yeah I always try to do 'best beers of the last year' to cull Pliny, and when I did that it was like 50% Tree House and Trillium.

Re: Manaea, I really want to see a start of his with a straight-away CF camera angle. I think it's kinda hard to get a gauge his stuff from Oakland's angle IMO, especially his slider. They go to Minnesota next week, so hopefully we can see something then.
