oh man this takes me back... to 1993

How much has Vizcaino's trade value fallen? He's been pretty bad the past couple weeks.
Eno Sarris
12:01
Hopefully it's more his injury history in the past that's keeping buyers away more than the last few appearances.
Bork

Hello, friend!
Eno Sarris
12:01
hello, friends!
Bork
12:01
I recently found out I'm going to be a father. What are some names that are sure to guarantee the child will be a success in life? I'm looking for 80 grade baseball names that I can use while Borkwife is drugged up after giving birth.
Eno Sarris
12:02
I read once that alliteration was a big deal for success so Bork Bork zooms to the top of the list.

Should we read into Ned Yost bringing in Herrera into the 8th inning of a tie game last night that he might use Soria in the 9th with Davis out?
Eno Sarris
12:03
Yes. It's terrible and I don't understand it, but yes. Role is huge.
Dave
12:03
Over/under 10 saves for Adam Ottavino this season?
Eno Sarris
12:04
Not sure he's going to sit at the top end velocity that he showed before he was hurt. We talked about him sitting 93ish, and how he felt loose and weird in his elbow as he was throwing so hard. At 93, a righty, I think he could platoon with McGee, but hard to give him over 10 saves.
Danny Almonte

Are you more likely to give some GMs the benefit of the doubt than others if they make a head-scratching move? Like if Theo seemingly overpays in a trade vs. Preller doing a similar move.
Eno Sarris
12:05
Anthopolous used to get that treatment, but it can come and go unless you're Theo.

How does one define grassy IPAs? And what would be a decent example from the Bay Area?
Eno Sarris
12:06
The closest we have are some of the Cellarmaker beers, like Dobis. Grassy is a way to describe the fresh bitterness of the hops, and when paired against the thick mouthfeel of an opaque beer, and juicy aromas and tastes of certain hops, you've got the trendiest IPAs in the business right now.

Double Jack used to be my go-to, but I'm finding it too malty lately. Old batches or have my taste buds changed from brighter, hoppier offerings?
Eno Sarris
12:06
Our tastes have changed.

Drew Smyly will bounce back after the ASG ? BABIP: ,313 at the moment.
Eno Sarris
12:07
His curve is a little different. The run environment suggests he might actually run a 1.33 HR/9 going forward. I'll give him some Ted Lilly type stats, adjusted for our time: 3.75+/1.2+/9k9+

CAMINEROS BACK ENO
Eno Sarris
12:08
yeah he has looked sexy time, and he's getting higher leverage innings already.

#1 overall in the NFBC and just lost Kershaw. Hunker down with quality middle relievers or risk it with iffy starters?
Eno Sarris
12:09
I'm hopecasting a short time on the DL for him. I'd be into an iffy starter if his schedule looked good, but if you're protecting an ERA/WHIP lead, go with the relievers.
Andrew
12:09
Remember when Giancarlo Stanton was the worst player ever in the history of baseball forever?
Eno Sarris
12:09
Now he's the best!

So without a single PA above AA Andrew Benintendi is currently projected for a 110 wRC+.. I don't really have a question, just wut
Eno Sarris
12:10
When we were in Staten Island, our man Mike Holly that works there said that he was the only player he'd seen go into the water there, and that Benintendi did it twice. As a visiting player.

ceiling on Joe Ross? legit fip and era, still developing changeup.
Eno Sarris
12:10
I have some hope that his change is better than his brother's, but I think a realistic ceiling is Tyson Ross.

Love you ENO. I'm in first by 30 points and have been dangling Fulmer at a keepable price (Al-only). Sent an offer that was accepted immediately, to my dismay. I sent Fulmer and Park for Smyly and Sano. Tell me I'm not a total moron?
Eno Sarris
12:12
It's fine. If you're winning, you get slightly more bankable late year innings plus the better hitter. I love love Fulmer, but you got the best bat.

12:13
hello there, my fine feathered friend. which SS would you keep next year - seager at $25 or Story at $6?
Eno Sarris
12:13
Too much surplus value on that Story price.

Over his last six games, Dylan Bundy has thrown 14 1/3 innings without allowing an earned run with four walks and 19 strikeouts. Bundy’s fastball was touching 97 mph repeatedly yesterday. Over his first 21 innings this season, he fanned 10. Over his last 17 innings, he has struck out 22 batters. Is he back?
Eno Sarris
12:13
He's a great reliever! I'm not sure he could do any of this as a starter though.
Andy
12:14
Time to board the Max Kepler train before it picks up too much steam? Seems like he could put up sneaky Top 50 OF production the rest of the way if he continues to play every day.
