You've been great help to me with trades this year: I just traded Melancon (11th round keeper) and Pence (can't keep) for Piscotty (16th round keeper) and Wheeler (20th round) and picked up Diaz w FAAB. Did I do ok? Is Piscotty worth keeping? I never seem to hear people talk about him.

Piscotty may have overperformed his exit velocity so far, but he's proven himself to be defensively versatile with power and plate coverage. I think you did really well, particularly with the Diaz pickup.

I'm a decade older than I suspect a lot of FG readers are--am I justified in feeling you whipper-snappers don't know what a lopsided trade looks like? Shelby Miller is nothing compared to Heathcliff Slocumb for Varitek and Lowe or Pedro for Carl Pavano.

That sounds dirty. He told me he's gotten better on Ks by anticipating better, which tells me that his K rate will jump big in the big leagues, where pitchers will change it up on him. I'd give him a high bust rate, even though I like his power.
