This is a more common question. He's outperforming his projected power most of all, but his backstory is so checkered, in terms of providing good sample for the projections, that I'm more comfortable upping his true talent to something like .275/.325/.425 at least, which is pretty good.

Scan down to batted ball stats, multiply FB% by IFFB% in your head, if it's over 4%, that player has a repeatable skill that will beat FIP (but is included in WAR).
