Hello, friend!

Where would you recommend finding decent ADP data this early in the fantasy baseball season?
Eno Sarris
12:01
Couch managers has some stuff up.
hooha
12:01
drink of choice for christmas dinner?
Eno Sarris
12:01
I've got a Perennial Abraxas that will probably do the trick.

In your opinion, what is the best-run organization in baseball?
Eno Sarris
12:02
Cubs. Really willing to incorporate all sorts of thinking into one stream. Theo listens.

How much more would Odubel have to ask for before the Phillies would have said "no thanks, we'll wait it out."? I feel like he left ten million or so on the table.
Eno Sarris
12:02
With a story like his, maybe it's okay to take the payday.

Aledmys Diaz far outperformed initial reports on him coming into the year. Are you a believer of last year's performance?
Eno Sarris
12:04
I'm a little worried about the defense, and I'm just not sure how much to believe a guy with a power explosion when all he has is "I added a leg kick," but he has a chance to regress in a few different ways and still be a league average player, so the Cards did it again.

Profar as 1b?
Eno Sarris
12:04
Giving up too much of his value.

f@ck, marry, kill: Kershaw, Trout, & Machado
Eno Sarris
12:05
That order. I love Machado, but when I talked to him about what he can see and he said he couldn't see anything but maybe velocity cue, I wondered about his approach and how it will age.

Will my son have a bounce-back year this year?
Eno Sarris
12:06
He's 36. You're hoping for him to be about the same with better health I think.

The White Sox's asking price for Quintana seems to be much larger than what some writers 'recommend' they take. Do you think the White Sox are intentionally asking for trade-deadline sized packages now to let the market know what he'll cost in a few months?
Eno Sarris
12:07
Here's why I think they're waiting to be bowled over. If you look at the guys they got back, they'll mostly be in the big leagues in the next two years. They have Q for four. If any of those pitchers work out, Q/Rodon/+new guy is actually a good 1-3, possibly *really* good. I know they'll have holes elsewhere, but they'll also have cut some money in the meantime. It's not crazy to think they could be competitive in the next four years.

real real

12:08
Eno, what's Meadows dream ceiling? Can he be a superstar?
Eno Sarris
12:08
Depends if that ass produces the power that its prodigiousness suggests it can.
Disco Dan
12:08
who is your top pet prospect?
Eno Sarris
12:09
Probably Ozzie Albies -- I just think he'll be useful at worst and maybe really fun to watch if he gets to that ceiling. If you need me to delve deeper, a guy like Travis Demerrite was my guy last year, so many tools and just one or two tweaks from being great. Even deeper? Mike Sorotka is a fun pitcher.
I'm not even sure what Sorotka's first name is lol.

What do you think a season from Lance Lynn looks like? Am I crazy to think that he will have a solid bounce back(as health permits)? My thinking is that he relies heavily on fastballs and not so much on offspeed pitches which will protect his elbow. Add that to how he looked coming back at the end of last year, and he has sleeper written all over him.
Eno Sarris
12:10
I guess, but the newest evidence is that the higher velo pitches are the biggest stressors.

Why hasn't Chile produced any MLB players? I'm writing from Chile where I can't even find a soccer match this holiday week.

It's almost always about infrastructure.

Beer recs for Oahu?
Eno Sarris
12:12
Find some Big Island Brewhaus, they make a red stout that's awesome, and their IPAs are fruity West Coasters. Maui beer is good. As for actual locations, Kona Brewing is fine, Aloha Beer Company too.

I really want Encarnacion on the A's. #3 hitter really thickens out the rest of the lineup.
Eno Sarris
12:12
Dude they are going to have a February surprise. Trumbo! Who knows. Some slugger.
Nelson
12:13
Who stays better longer: Carrasco or Kluber?
Eno Sarris
12:13
I don't.. know. So Carrasco is starting with much better velocity, so he has further to drop there. But! His command is worse. Much worse. What happens when he can't throw it to the middle of the zone because he's down to 92/93? I think Kluber might do better at 89/90 than Carrasco at 92/93....
Nelson
12:13
Realistic for Soler this year: .260 22HR. Platoon or nah?
Eno Sarris
12:15
I think he plays most of the year because at first they show off their new player, and then later they won't be great and they'll want to know if they have to platoon him later. Plus, he's a righty. I think he plays when he's not hurt and those numbers are super attainable.
