Daaaaamn your website looks tight! Congrats
Eno Sarris
12:17
Thanks! It'll get much better. I'm not supposed to promote it, but I'm allowed to RT people who find it I think. So this message will self destruct later, but oct.co is the URL....
Chris
12:17
Do the Padres add any more to their rotation?
Eno Sarris
12:17
oh my I hope they do or
Bud
12:17
Wily Peralta pitched readid well in August and September. Do you think it is a break sign of sorts for 2017.
Eno Sarris
12:17
Not really, because it was a velo bounce back and velo normally just dies.
Chris
12:18
Do you see any breakout prospects from the Padres farm system?
Eno Sarris
12:19
Hunter Renfroe going hit 30 bombs this year. I'm convinced. If you want a 'pet' guy, I've always like FRANCHY Cordero, partially for the name, but also because I believe in the bat and think he can find a spot.

Even knowing he was Jamaican, I would have bet a lot of money that Kyle O'Quinn on the Knicks was white. Nope.
Eno Sarris
12:20
He's Jamaican?!!! YAASSSSS. The Knicks have a Jamaican center and he's decent. It's the late 80s again. Tell me there's a Wilkins dunking somewhere.

Fangraphs is the best-run org in baseball ;)

My toes! My toes! My toes! Cowabunga! Eno Chat!

Weird interlude, but I'll take it.

Archer for Albies, Foltynewicz, Newcomb & Toussaint. Who says no?
Sandy Kazmir
12:20
Archer for Dahl+Hoffman+Tapia, who says no?
Eno Sarris
12:21
You take the Dahl led deal if both are on the table, as much as I like Albies, I think. I think they might take either of these deals though, so it's all about the sending team.

Spending less time doing your job (writing baseball) and spending more time focusing on drinking beer.... Step one is admitting you have a problem Eno....
Eno Sarris
12:22
Guess which one pays better. I'll give you three guesses and the first three don't count.
Ricky
12:22
Is there any work done to using statcast for park factor adjustments?
Eno Sarris
12:22
I tried to do it for the piece on Oakland's Mount Davis killing fly balls, but yeah I'm sure someone is going to do something really fun there.
Frank
12:23
Can Dansby Swanson be anything similar to Francisco Lindor with the bat?
Eno Sarris
12:23
He'll need to make a lot more contact this year.
Buff
12:23
Your thoughts on Brandon Maurer? Similar to or different than Al Melchior's? Likelihood of retaining the closer role through the year and into 2018?
Eno Sarris
12:23
If he stays on the team all year, yeah I like him. I'd say 2/3 of a good closer though, because of that trade deadline.
Joe
12:24
What do you think of Maeda in a keep forever league?
Eno Sarris
12:24
I think he'll be fine, but I doubt he'll get better, at 28 and with some sort of unspecified injury history that hurt him at the negotiating table.
Chris
12:24
How many Padre Rule V draft picks stick?
Eno Sarris
12:25
On the Padres alone at least one haha. They had themselves a day. Pretty hilarious, but if you've got openings at the back of your 25, you better do something like that and see if you can't score a Johan or Odubel.

Man I don't know who to keep this upcoming year Eno. Do I keep Bregman at $8 or Story at $8 or both? Do I keep Sonny Gray at $8 or Keuchel at $8 or neither?
Eno Sarris
12:25
Keep both hitters and neither pitcher!
Frank
12:26
Does Felix Hernandez rebound a little or is this who he is?
Eno Sarris
12:26
Man I think this is it. If he can get it back up to 91-92, maybe he's more 3.5/8k9/50GB and that's a bounceback but it's not King Felix.
Packing it in

Assuming Shoemakers brain is healed, can we expect sub 3.5 with 175-200K?
Eno Sarris
12:27
Hard to project him for that many innings, IMO.
john wick
12:27
what do you expect from rick porcello next season?
Eno Sarris
12:28
Regression to a good #3. It's nice that he figured out how to use the four-seam better, but the peripherals didn't support all that.
Hello Eno
12:28
Do we trust Bundy to be a #2 or is he more #5/RP? Thx
Eno Sarris
12:28
With good health I absolutely think he'll be a #2. Best stuff on that staff.
