Would never happen for a couple reasons, my lawyer friends say. One is that I think judges would just assume the CBA makes baseball exempt even if it's not explicit yet, and two is that baseball could rule that he can get out of his contract but can't sign another one until the end of the term of the first. You see Mike Trout doing this to make another x million in Japan for the next four years? Probably blackballed when he comes back, too.

I don't get it, Francisco Lindor is considered a top player in all of baseball. Profar is considered washed up but seems to offer a similar profile, especially from an offensive standpoint. 15-15 above average OBP. What gives?
