Why hasn't Chase Utley been signed anywhere yet? He's projected for about 1.5 WAR/600, making him a very solid backup at worst, and he provides "veteran leadership" which teams tend to pay for. Where might he end up?

I know it's popular to be down on Junior Guerra. I still think the fastball/splitter combo can be very effective. Thoughts?

No, I like him. Splitters don't have much in the way of platoon splits, effective against both kinds, and I think his curve is mislabeled and it's a slider. If he can harden that up a bit, he could even be better than he was, and with his experience pitching, that's still possible. Velo and a plus change is a good way to start things.
