Ah right, that's true. You stop seeing things after a while.

You put a non-prime number over 1?!

It's the loneliest number.

What do you think of tired hands? Super experimental, delicious milkshakes, solid IPAs and DIPAs. Why not more love?
Eno Sarris
1:41
Small distribution area, don't bottle or can a ton so hard to trade, not in a huge metro area. But people inside beer love them.

First game you think you'll see this year and how many in a season do you attend?
Eno Sarris
1:44
I'll go to a game March 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and maybe 9th, and then I'll attend two a week once the season starts, plus three or four with the family for fun, plus maybe some All-Star stuff again, plus, on average, two to four post-season games. So I'd guess I'll go to around 60 games this year.

In Prague, beer recommendations?

The local pils. Sorry, but that's probably v excellent.

love saisons but man the variance on that style. a bad one is just damn undrinkable
Eno Sarris
1:46
yeah there are probably four or five different archetypes and the average drinker probably hates one or two of them. I probably only hate one style of saison, so I'm fairly safe with them.

Any theory that some teams do not put in their best pitcher to be used in saves situations, so that it will cost the team less money? Relievers only seem to make money once they earn a healthy amount of saves.
Eno Sarris
1:47
Yeah we've written about it a ton. Teams claim they don't do it, but I'm not sure I believe that no team does it.

Using FanGraphs Auction calculator and switching to my league's OPS settings, it came back with Gary Sanchez 11th overall, Rougned Odor 15th, and Eric Thames 27th. Those are all way too high, no? I can't see a way to draft those guys at those spots.
Eno Sarris
1:48
Look at their projections and you'll see why. You can disagree with the projections, of course, but Thames' projections are nutty.

At some point the American beer pendulum is going to hop it's self out and swing back the other way. Any predictions on which style it will swing back to?
Eno Sarris
1:49
We're already seeing more pilsners and session IPAs, and we're even seeing the NEIPA in the iPA category, which has a poop ton of hops in it but not the same bitterness.

If you haven't checked out Faction in Alameda it's worth it. Amazing views of the city and, well, beer of course.

Agreed.

I'm no pro, but Shelby Miller doesn't seem that confusing. In 2012 and 2013 he had great peripherals and results. Since then, they've been not as great. His pitch mix has DRASTICALLY changed to the point where you can see an EASY correlation (not causation, but worth an investigation). Why not use the CU and CH like he used to? Using the CT more sparingly and go back to a four seamer only instead of a two seamer?
Eno Sarris
1:50
Agreed. He has that ride, he should be using the 4S/CU and the splitter grip. He got spooked. I think he can be decent again.

Saison lovers should go to Oxbow in Portland. They are doing fun things. Also, they have Wu Tang Wednesdays with kung fu movies on

Well, if it's an interesting one, it might be sorta cool to compile the ones that got the most varied answers.

Yankees signed Miller and just signed Chapman (the only RP alive better than Betances) to avoid giving him saves...so they could screw him to the wall as Levine just did.

Hard to not see this as happening in a bunch of places.

If you think the Rockies have it bad, try being the Lunaris Moonbeams who will have to develop pitchers in reduced gravity.
