Every time a well-known player tests positive for a banned substance people start talking about the need for stronger penalties, but doesn't the fact that people are getting caught, and only a few every year suggest that the system IS working? 0 players using seems unrealistic no matter what the consequences.

How valuable is the skill of "seeing a lot of pitches" - For example, how many pitches per appearance would a player need to see to be valuable (while slightly below avg with the bat and glove)? Is there any value there?

Can you clarify for me? SwSt% is % of strikes that are swinging. Whiff% is % of swings that are whiffs. Two different metrics, and Whiff% would be a larger sample of data

No. Swinging strikes are all whiffs over all pitches, so bigger sample. Whiffs are whiffs divided by swings.

I saw this guy when I was too young to print here, had a beer in my hand, was going to talk to a young lady of my age bracket, in Jamaica, and then in a moment of self doubt I dropped the beer on a rock and everyone looked at me and I died a little inside. Sweet show though.
