The only thing he's really told me about his approach is that he's trying to hit fly balls. So it's not for lack of trying! I think the injury has been hard on him.

I traded for Story so now have Diaz on bench & Inciarte is starting in utility bc of Trout. Should I drop 1 or both of those for Holliday, Souza, Pham or Piscotty? League counts xbhs.

I'm buying. Good velo on his pitches. great command. Many pitches, all good pitches. Throwing slider more than the sinker, but hasn't abandoned any pitch really, even with curve and change usage down.

What are your thoughts on Bauer and his CB usage? Do you think he starts using his elite pitch more often after his last successful outing (40% usage of CB)? Or do you think he keeps the same (20-25% usage of CB) approach?

he's never had a game wth that many curveballs before! But he has been moving towards this slowly over time, the other biggest games are all this year and late last year. It's possible that he should whittle down to fewer, better pitches, and it seems like he's doing that.
