Pirates just took the Brewers to the woodshed, and the Rockies pitching is...either decent and deep or a house of cards, and we won't know for a month or so. How can the Pirates trade away anything now and not have a mutiny?

Good point, and the only 2018 FAs they have are Tony Watson, John Jason and Juan Nicasio. Not going to bring much back, and still sorta useful for that team.

Jeff Zimmerman has done a ton of aging curves. What I've seen is players that don't reach as much on pitches outside the zone (o-contact ages terribly) and are athletic (provide value on d/basepaths) age the best.

Most definitely get to the bag faster. Think about the physics. You're running till the last second and pushing the top half of your body forward and down with gravity. You can even push off with your last step instead of jumping down with your feet. But yeah, it's super dangerous.
