be here shortly!

Yo I'm here!

You pumped for Chris Flexen? I assume you'll be paying close attention to him.
Eno Sarris
12:02
Came into the season like 56th on the Mets starting pitcher depth chart haha.

best lottery ticket ROS in a twelve team, points league?  Snell, Pivetta, A. Moore, M. Moore, Mejia, Marquez, Lamet. Thank you much sir.
Eno Sarris
12:02
Snell and then Lamet.

Is Steven Matz hurt?
Eno Sarris
12:03
Also a possibility he needed the Warthen Slider to make the package hum. His secondaries are not as good as his fastball for sure.
RotoLando
12:03
Can I count on Chris Flexen to not be terrible today?
Eno Sarris
12:04
No, definitely not. Dude's been pretty old for his levels on the way up, but at least the k-BB is strong. That's all I got on Flexen so let's move on.

Eno! Gimmie your best IPA from North Carolina
Eno Sarris
12:05
Stop Drop N Roll from NoDa is good but I also like Jade IPA from Foothills.

Eno, This is life or death. Dynasty league. Is it worth trading 6-9 years of controllable Trea Turner for a rental Max Scherzer? Me thinks the price is a bit high, but maybe I'm just...unreasonable?
Eno Sarris
12:05
I'd trade for a cheaper starting pitcher and hope for a good stretch. Keep Trea. He's almost back.

Braves finally demote Swanson to AAA so he can get every day playing time.  Why did they wait so long to do this after benching him?
Eno Sarris
12:07
It's an interesting decision. You want the person to be able to hit major league pitching, not minor league pitching. So there's an argument to keep him up. And if you're sending him down to get confidence, fine, but the act of sending him down itself won't improve his confidence.

12:08
What's up with Carlos Martinez?  He's thrown some clunkers lately.  You don't think he's injured do you?
Eno Sarris
12:09
His velocity is fine, his release point is steady, and he's still living in the zone, and those are the only blunt tools we have for that type of question.

Where's Gray end up?
Eno Sarris

New York?

Any tips on how to try to deal with an owner who has to make the last offer/has to win every trade? We're in a dynasty league and both playing for this year, if that makes any difference
Eno Sarris
12:10
See if that includes giving up an extra player? That player might be close enough to waiver acquisition that he can win on players but you still get what you need. Otherwise move on.

How valuable is Aaron Hicks in dynasty? I'm debating trading him in my OBP league but I don't know how much regression to predict.
Eno Sarris
12:12
I like what he's doing, but I think he's tradeable. I mean he's already turning 28 next year, and stolen bases age terribly, so if he's a true talent .260 20/8 type guy, that's not worth holding too hard.
Red's Sox
12:12
Do you think we find a way to keep Devers and Nunez in the lineup? Xander has been a 250 hitter over his last 700 PAs, Benny has been struggling,  Moreland is below replacement level...
Eno Sarris
12:13
Nunez can play the outfield and isn't an amazing hitter or anything, so play him against lefties, sub him in late in games, make him a super util, and he can take over if Devers fades.

Who will be happiest with their White Sox reliever acquisition, the Yankees, the Brewers, or the Rays?
Eno Sarris
12:14
Kahnle's command could go at any point, but Swarzak has been really good since he added two ticks and that probably won't go away so quickly.
Young MC
12:14
Eno, facing a tough decision. Did you prefer living in ATL or NYC?
Eno Sarris
12:15
Nothing beats being a young person in New York City. As a kid, I might have taken Atlanta. I rode bikes around and had a lawn and a park across the road and lived inside the city limits. Was pretty great, thinking back.

You always say Bogaerts says he wouldn't change what's working...well is it time for a change?
Eno Sarris
12:16
Yeah those were his words. I worry that he sees the .284 average and thinks everything is fine. And, among shortstops, being nearly league average is fine, really. But he could be more of a star.
Sourman
12:16
You play fantasy football?
Eno Sarris
12:16
I've sworn off all forms of football, pretty much. I'll go to a Stanford game sometimes, but that's to see people and eat a hot dog and so on.

Judge has now hit .245 in his last 85 PAs. I don't want to be hasty and assume this is his new normal, but his BABIP has been .353 during that time. It's hard to imagine him maintaining a BABIP much higher than that. Is it reasonable to imagine him settling in as a .250 hitter going forward?
Eno Sarris
12:17
I'm just going to leave this here.
(If you haven't been in all the chats, yes, I basically said he'd be a .260 hitter with a .350 BABIP, and that wasn't a popular opinion.)

You sent me to Modern Times in San Diego.   The monkeys made out of post it notes is amazing...

IRT your McCutchen article do you offer him an extension if you're the Pirates?
Eno Sarris
12:18
Always depends on the numbers. I see a guy that's above-average in every facet of the game (in the corner OF), but I couldn't pay him like a star.

How much are you down on Tim Anderson? He's been pretty awful this year.
