Arod, Cano, tex, jeter

That was a pretty damn good infield, but also decently old.

Today for lunch I had some leftover BBQ from last night (chicken and pork) with a mild poblano salsa. What would you do with those ingredients to make an amazing sandwich?
Eno Sarris
12:55
Might just play with the starch, like put it on a pretzel bun to give it a different feel. can't put sweet or spicy in there because it would get swallowed up. So, what you think: cheddar, lettuce, chicken and pork, salsa, pretzel bun. I want that!

Eno - not sure how to feel about Jake Lamb going into next year.  Hes basically been the same player in 2016 & 2017.  Do you think he ever puts together 2 good halves in one season, or is his final line more representative?
Eno Sarris
12:56
I'd like to ask him about his second half fades. Or at least look to see if he's pitched differently.

Drops off a bit at the end there.

Sometimes you just have to remind yourself... everything is going to be ok... you just ate beets yesterday

Am I a top 5 shortstop?
Eno Sarris
12:58
Sixth by straight WAR. If Andrus takes a step back with the bat, or Cozart... then again, Javy Baez, Xander Bogaerts could make an adjustment and zoom by him. I'd say yes: likely top five next year. But maybe not in perpetuity.

I'm starting to think Gohara is going to be really, really good.

He flashes plus plus plus for sure. Overall his changeup is still pretty meh. But if he could add two inches of drop to it, it would be average, four inches and it's plus. Maybe if he just adds two inches but actually is consistent with it...

2004 cards had rolen, renteria, womack and albert.  and steve kline.

The 09 Yanke infield was reasonably young with cano and Tex. ARod and Jetes were still among the best at their position.
Ray Kinsella

Luis Perdomo has 4 hits this season - 3 triples and 1 double. I like to think he was thrown out trying to stretch the double into a triple.
Buck Turgidson

If you're boston how do you start Pomeranz in a playoff game? I guess when your alternative is Doug Fister...
Eno Sarris

Two innings, go to a righty, Price warming in the fourth.

Not counting stolen bases, who do you like more for next year, Toles or Jose Pirela?  Can either sustain or improve on their stats from this year?
Eno Sarris
1:03
I'd rather have Toles, I think. He's a forgotten man but Bellinger will be at first and he'll be in the OF I think.
Dub
1:03
youre forgetting Trea Turner in your top 5 SS
Eno Sarris
1:03
Ah yeah because of qualifying. Well, Simmons may not have an above-average bat next year, so there are three guys that could regress.
Dub
1:04
probably also Correa if going by WAR this year
Eno Sarris
1:05
Okay quick random ranking: Lindor Seager Correa I can't put anyone in there. Turner maybe. So top four is locked down. Five could be Didi, Andrus, and yes, still Bogaerts with some improvement at bat.

buelher a starter in LA for 2018? Buehler? Buehler?
Eno Sarris
1:05
He's got the stuff. Vets under contract next year:
1:06
Kershaw
Hill
McCarthy
Kazmir
Ryu
Maeda
Wood
holy hell
1:07
I mean you can take a few of those off the list, but it doesn't look like Buehler will break camp as a starter does it.

Addison Russell is hitting close to what was projected for him since he came off the DL. Is next year when he finally arrives?
