Yes. that's no good. If the third baseman is playing far back, a bunt can have a positive effect in bringing him forward, even if it's just a sac bunt in the box score.

Probably some time next year, though maybe not until they trade someone, depending on who's playing shortstop and third and second. I do think Senzel can play second, so if they think they're building a pitching staff, maybe he breaks camp with the team.
