It's so weird. These are all long-term acquisitions. You buy the team and sit on it for years and it doubles. No matter what you do. You'd think you want a new ownership group to come in and make a splash but guess not.

Saw Furcal in a bar in St. Louis one time when the Cards were in the playoffs and he was injured. He sat there by himself for about an hour, talked to no one, had a couple of beers and then left.

Might even cost that $10-12m they have. Not bad. Cleveland won't do it, they have two catchers signed and just moved their top catching prospect to third. Boston likes their guys I think. Arizona and Washington and Minny are good ideas, but not sure what the prospect type fit would look like in those trades.
