The thinking from the holistic healer I talked to was that it 'primes the pump' and gets your gut working before the food lands on top of it. It doesn't taste great, doens't feel awesome, but I do seem to work through bigger meals better if I take a spoonful before the dinner.

Not that much. Might be a little more going forward though. I don't like spending much more than $50 a seat though, which prices me out of a lot of shows. Maybe $100 each for a big show.
