I did my first NFBC 50 round draft and hold last year and did not do well.  What do you think is the optimal batter/pitcher split?  I went with very few bench bats thinking that if my offense wasn't good, replacment batters wouldn't help that much.   They were not good.  Bad strategy?

I think you probably need to spend five 'lottery' type picks on bench bats. Guys that could play their best and take a spot from a starter. Otherwise, yeah, my bench would be 75% arms too.

The current giants team reminds me a little bit of the 2010 team. Mostly washed up veterans but also a pretty solid collection of established talent. Then again that team was seemingly such an anomaly
