Hello! Graduate housing has heating and seasonal air conditioning. When the heating or the air conditioning is on for the building, you will be able to adjust the temperature in your room within a certain range.

What kind of weather should I expect in the Philadelphia?

DATS student, we have a very healthy four seasons. In August, as we are right now, it's been fairly warm and humid, with several days when it's rained. Winter can get down into the teens (in Fahrenheit) with at least a couple days with heavy snow accumulation. Fall is usually very nice with highs in the 70s or low 80s with low humidity and lows into the high-to-low 50s before it ends. Spring is usually mild and damp.

Hi Will! I am an incoming ESE student. I registered for 3 courses on Aug 2 but two of them need department permits. (I still do not have permits now!) In the August 6 billing cycle I get the bill for one course, but what about the rest two courses? Will I get the bill for the rest two in the next cycle?

Zhang, you won't get billed for them until after you have registered for them.

Hope the above rundown helps. I've lived here for 17 years, so I'm pretty familiar.

Hi will! I was just wondering if it was alright to send a transcript that I have been handed upon graduation (it's in an unopened envelope with a stamp and signature over the back flap) or if it needs to come directly from my institution

Student - as long as it's unopened, that should be fine.
