Thank you! If you end up needing to defer, please send an email to Admissions1@seas.upenn.edu, prior to August 27, requesting to defer. In addition, we also recommend you contact the International Students and Scholars Services office, at isss@pobox.upenn.edu, to let them know about your issue. They handle the visa process, as Grad Admissions is actually not involved.
