It is not just you. Hopefully part of the good is that the silly stupid rumor is dying a bit. But there's a slow build here that seems slower than usual. Is it Ohtani and Stanton's fault? Maybe. As much as they were independent things and only concerned a few teams, look at how the Yankees are suddenly in every rumor now once they made their first big move.
