Need your honest opinion here, Eric.....My league mates think I'm so smart since I have a law degree.  I often circumvent the rules of our league, NGNL, to my benifit.  Does that make me a cheat?

no but don't do that stuff in real life. It's fine to be hypershrewd with that stuff. Some guy who was new to a football league I was in once said aloud 'I hope Antonio Gates gets to me' and my buddy LaBar and I traded up to the pick in front of him to take him. I'm coming for the trophy, yo.
But give them a chance to re-write the rules so there aren't loopholes, that's called cooperation and it's good

of course i want guys to get paid, most of all because I want top athletic talent to want to play baseball. Money isn't the only or most influential variable for certain individuals (it wouldn't be mine) but it doesn't hurt

With the Yanks depth at OF, why not trade Clint Frazier to the Indians for someone like Tyler Freeman. Yanks get a young guy with lots of potential, Indians get immediate help. Makes sense right

Yes, that type of deal (maybe not that specific deal) makes sense from a 40-man, talent equilibrium standpoint
