At what age do you start to give up a on a prospect or at least see their chances at becoming a decent regular are nearly done?

I think it's a player to player thing because each guy has a different background. I'm more inclined to give up on a 19 year old from Florida who has no physical projection left and very little feel to hit than I am a 22 year old two sport prospect from the midwest who is still growing into his body.
